The range of CHIARA edging machines by FORVET S.p.a. has revolutionized the glass grinding process by pursuing the increasingly strategic objectives of flexibility and productivity to successfully compete in the world of glass processing.
The CHIARA range has a unique technology thanks to the system patented by FORVET S.p.a. so the glass remains in a static position and all its sides are processed simultaneously: four grinding heads that mount 8/10 spindles process the four sides of the glass simultaneously even on irregular geometries.
The entire range of CHIARA series grinders is characterized by a high degree of automation represented by:
- automatic setting of thickness and size between each single slab in sequence
- automatic change of finish between each side of the same slab or between two consecutive slabs
- grinding spindles with automatic wheel positioning and wear recovery
According to the specific needs of the customer, FORVET S.p.a. proposes three different solutions:
- CLEAR MTP8: it automatically carries out grinding and polishing operations of the wire and of the threads, simultaneously on the four sides of the glass.
- CLEAR MODULAR: it has all the functions present in the Chiara MTP8, but it is also able to work the glasses out of square
- CLEAR MULTIFLEX: arises from the need to have integrated technologies, capable of operating on sheets of even XXL dimensions: CHIARA Multiflex is able to grind and polish, with a brilliant finish, glass sheets of sizes - up to 3300x18000mm - and different thicknesses, shapes, in continuous sequence, without the need for manual adjustments between one glass and the next. The machine is able to handle two pieces at the same time, even if they are different from each other.
CHIARA, like the whole range of Forvet products, is completely configurable according to the specific needs of the customer and is designed to be fully integrated with any other production process.
