ColorGlass is the newly designed single-cylinder rolling machine by ROLLMAC, division of GE.MA.TA. S.p.a. suitable for enamelling and drawing printing, by means of an engraved cylinder, of vitreous material in sheets.
It was created to meet both the needs of research and development and processing of small pieces and industrial processing.
With Colorglass it is possible to easily paint all types of flat glass on the market, with sheet thicknesses of 2 mm. to 25 mm. and working heights from 600 to 2600 mm. Colorglass is therefore a machine suitable for processes ranging from small dimensions, such as tiles, decorative elements, components and furnishing accessories and special applications, to large ones such as glass for facades, interior walls etc.
A wide range of engraved cylinders, both in chromed steel and rubber, offers the possibility of depositing on the glass, in a single step, a uniform and constant quantity of wet enamel from 30 to 400 g / m30 (from 300 to XNUMX microns thick) without leaving traces of paint on the edges of the plate. Special rubber-coated cylinders, laser engraved, are available both for enamelling and to create screen printing effects on glass plates that are not perfectly flat and that have hollows or swellings.
As with all machines Rollmac, the strengths of Colorglass are the ease of use and speed of color change. A complete article change, i.e. with variation of the parameters of thickness and slab size, quantity and color of the glaze to be deposited, takes place extremely quickly, in the order of 15 minutes.
Upon request, a tilting infeed belt is available mounted in front of the machine to facilitate the transport of large slabs. On this belt, a device can be supplied as an option to align the front edge of the plate with the engraved coating cylinder.
The electrical panel, which as in all machines Rollmac it is inserted inside the shoulder, it is equipped with an inverter for controlling the AC motors. All the machine commands and the digital displays of the working values are available on the operator panel. The working thickness adjustment is motorized with digital control.
