GLASSDRIER-IR is the drying oven, designed by Rollmac, which is characterized by its highly efficient performance, for drying the chemical product on flat glass plates, but with minimal environmental impact.
The infra-red technology provides modular sections of 2,25 meters each with an industrial PLC that manages and controls the drying temperatures: this particular equipment guarantees energy savings in electricity as it allows both the maintenance of the oven temperature, using only 55% of the installed power, and the switching off of the lamps when there are no plates in the oven. In addition, the same design of the height of the infrared lamps and of the wavelength determine the maximum efficiency with the smallest possible footprint, allowing a high efficiency of the heat exchange and, therefore, a consequent and considerable energy saving.
The oven has been designed paying particular attention also to the ergonomic and maintenance aspects:
• the infrared lamps are mounted on shaped slides with lateral extraction, for their quick replacement or cleaning;
• large side panels that can be opened make it easier to inspect the inside of the machine for cleaning and maintenance;
• the transport system by means of motorized rollers, covered in heat-resistant material, guarantee minimum maintenance and high reliability over time.
The modular concept of GLASSDRIER-IR ensures maximum flexibility of use since its configuration is adaptable to the needs of the customer, who can choose both the length and the composition; for example, at the end of the kiln it is possible to insert a cooling module which, through a forced ventilation system of the filtered ambient air distributed on the sheet by blowers with air blades, allows the manual or automatic handling of the dry glass already in the exit of the oven.
GLASSDRIER-IR is characterized by:
• an electronic temperature detection system which, by modulating the radiation on the glass, guarantees a uniform and constant temperature on the product;
• a system specially designed for the extraction of the saturated atmosphere, by means of an aspirator and adjustable shutters, and which guarantees the optimal evacuation of fumes avoiding the extraction of hot air;
• reduced ignition times of the oven thanks to the electronic temperature regulation system which ensures very short times for reaching the set temperature;
• an automatic energy saving system that puts the lamps in stand-by when the oven is not in use.
Finally, the oven is available in the different working lights 1300, 1800, 2200 and 2600 mm.
