TKonnect 4.0 allows you to track the production process via smartphone and computer, no matter how far you are from your factory.
Thanks to the integrated web browser, it is possible to access TK machines from all over the world, allowing the retrieval of process data, reading of events and configuration, programming and control of the machine. The new TKonnect 4.0 software connects the controllers in a totally secure way to the Internet, combining a new concept of an extremely intuitive user interface with the latest technologies available.
With TKonnect 4.0 it is possible to regulate an oven with a single movement of the hand: thanks to the smartphone connection it will be possible to monitor factory operations in real-time, an extra safety to facilitate daily work. The high-resolution display provides operators with an overview of ongoing processes, including setpoints and other important production data, making operations even easier.
The main functions of TKonnect 4.0 are:
1. Remote control of the production process
Thanks to Bluetooth technology or an internet connection, TKonnect 4.0 allows you to monitor the production cycle in real time and access the control of the machinery also via smartphone, using the free dedicated app.
The status of the machine is shown in real time on the display, thanks to a renewed and intuitive user interface that allows you to view the status of the process and the program profiles, which are completely flexible and customizable.
Thanks to the Program Real-Time-Clock it is possible to program the automatic start or completion of the production cycle of the TK machinery, by setting the temperature of the initial shift in advance or by switching off the oven for the weekend (e.g. setting the oven to be already at temperature for the first production shift at 5:30)
TKonnect 4.0 favors energy saving of the production plant: the controller autonomously modulates the current required by the machine for homogeneous heating without energy waste
2. Process data analysis
TKonnect 4.0 creates real-time reports on the production cycle and energy consumption of the machinery, through the measurement of the power actually consumed and the analysis of the absorbed current, to ensure better awareness and greater control of production costs.
Other analyzes carried out by the TK software are:
- Error monitoring and logging, through continuous process supervision and real-time alarm notifications
- Self-validation of all relevant components
- Visualization of KPIs and critical production factors
- Access to the statistical reports of the machines
- Email alerts on process anomalies and errors
3. Process traceability
TKonnect 4.0 allows to improve the tracking system of the components used during glass processing, making it easy to read.
The TK software:
- Track and record the thickness of the glass and the batch number of the lamination interlayer
- Records a maximum of 99 programs per user, with the ability to assign a user-defined name to each program.
- It implements a powerful controller mounted on a microprocessor through which continuous supervision of processes is possible. It is supported by a clock that provides detailed information on monitoring and logging errors in real time, with self-validation of all relevant components.
- It allows to export process data in CSV and Excel format, via Bluetooth and internet connection, in order to facilitate process traceability.

TKonnect 4.0 it is based on a powerful and innovative microprocessor that manages the multi-zone operation of the oven, with electrically insulated inputs, to ensure a uniform temperature throughout the heating chamber. This process is managed by a complex algorithm, which ensures a constant and uniform temperature of the work surfaces by analyzing the movements of heat between the zones to obtain better production outputs.
