The Italian glass market will recover rapidly after the contraction due to COVID and in 2021 growth of 8,9% is expected for a value of 861 million euros.
The building applications market will have a record growth of 12,4% thanks to the demand deriving from the replacement of fixtures in the residential segment (supported by tax incentives), the furniture and other applications markets will grow by 3%.
The OVP - Observatory on the transformation of flat glass is a market research by Assovetro, which carries out in collaboration with the company the market analysis company MCR Srl.
The objective of the study is to map the evolution of the demand for flat glass in the different market segments, the economic and financial performance of the processing companies and the biennial trends.
