The Entrance Plaza is the face of the museum that allows for immediate recognition and appeal for visitors, where it guides people into the museum, the warm glass window and surrounding areas.
The contrast between the dark facade and the bright interior of the lobby creates a unique first impression for museum visitors. The facade is U-shaped glass imported from Germany, sandblasted and glazed to reveal transparent glass words in various languages. Behind the glass facade is an LED backlight that allows the light to illuminate each word against its black background; the final effect is breathtaking at night.
