The sandblasting machines of the new Mistral EV + series, the top model of the production range of FRATELLI PEZZA S.r.l., has met with great interest since its official presentation at the fair Vitrum 2021, in particular among the companies that deal with the processing of mirrors.
The reasons for this success are certainly to be found in some important innovations, first of all the graphic simulator that shows the sandblasting areas that are set, so that the operator can realize in real time if the programming has been carried out correctly. But what is meant by sandblasting area? The sandblasting area is the area of the glass sheet that will be affected by the treatment. Let's think, for example, of a mirror on which it is necessary to create a frame with LED backlighting: by setting 4 sandblasting areas, both processing times and the consumption of abrasive material and wear parts can be optimized.
We must not forget that Fratelli Pezza sandblasters are the only ones available on the market equipped with the “MirrorProtection” system, a technological solution thanks to which the accumulation of static electricity inside the cabin is contained, thus avoiding the production of sparks. MirrorProtection has made it possible to reduce by 99,9% the cases of surface defects caused by these sparks during the sandblasting process.
To speed up the removal of silver plating with significant hardness or thickness, it is possible to take advantage of the "Engraving" function which allows you to automatically perform multiple sandblasting passes on the same area, up to a maximum of 99.
The automatic sandblasting machines of the MISTRAL EV + series are available in 3 versions which differ in the maximum working height: MISTRAL 120EV + (1200 mm), 180EV + (1800 mm) and 260EV + (2600 mm).
