Edge processing is a delicate phase as it is easy for micro-cracks or tensions to be created on the sheet due to tools or processing parameters.
In order to offer cutting-edge solutions to our customers, several systems have been created from the Denver Solution Center to meet all edge work needs, from dressing devices to wheel wear control and, last but not least, the self-leveling worktop.
The dressing unit for the latest generation diamond wheels is a dressing device consisting of an abrasive disc equipped with a programmable and automatic management cycle capable of maintaining the wheels in efficiency for a long period.
The dressing unit for core bits is a device that allows the geometric conditions of the tool to be restored to perform drilling with constant quality. Including management software called "Generate Profile" that allows you to reset the parameters for a perfect drilling.
The tool measurement control system (presetter) is an automatic micrometric device for tool measurement. It can be used on grinding wheels and core bits and is used to determine the dimensional parameters of the tools themselves with extreme precision.
The grinding system of the polishing wheels is composed of a polycrystalline diamond tool of considerable duration that allows the perfect removal of the shoulder and is inclusive of a dedicated management software, allows you to always work with wheels that do not have burrs or worn parts that should be to affect the quality of the workmanship.
The polishing wheel wear control system, through statistical and adaptive management, allows to monitor the wear status by compensating it in such a way as to distribute a homogeneous pressure and thrust on the glass edge during processing.
And finally the worktop that all the horizontal CNCs in the house are equipped with DENVER S.p.a., it is a worktop in rectified monolithic aluminum mounted on a steel base, the top is self-leveling and is able to expand while maintaining perfect flatness thus ensuring accuracy of the threads with tolerances of +/- 0.1mm
