Bovone Group, New High Speed ​​AV grinding wheels for CNC

BDT has tested new peripheral wheels for glass and Dekton machining centers with highly performing characteristics in terms of speed and performance.
The coined name was precisely “high speed wheels” in order to immediately highlight its intrinsic peculiarity, that is the processing speed. The market requires tools of a high quality level and equally performing and fast. The advantage cannot only be the result but also the time taken as well as the ease of use. And with this in mind, the entire BDT staff worked hard for months with the aim of designing a new range that would respond to the increasingly demanding requests of end customers and distributors. And so the challenge launched was immediately accepted by BOVONE DIAMOND TOOLS S.r.l....
There are essentially three types of wheels: flat profile wheels, trapezoidal profile wheels and cutters.
The flat profile wheels are characterized by a new design of the sectors, smaller and closer together, which allow to reach a speed of 10 meters per minute at 7.500 RPM.
The trapezoidal profile wheels have a different composition than the traditional ones and a different grain size, allowing to reach a speed of 8 meters per minute always at 7.500 RPM.
The same new design of the sectors has also been applied to the cutters, whose speed is now 50% more than the traditional ones, whose estimated speed is 10 meters per minute around 12.000 RPM.
