Exact distance measurement (EDM for short) is available as an additional option to the LineScanner: it allows high-precision dimensional measurement of the scanned glass, eg. for cutouts, holes, hole position and so on. No other system can perform such precise dimensional control (+/- 0,25mm) when scanning online.
