On the other hand, the market is asking for innovations oriented towards the energy capacity of the building.
There are various types of curtain walls on the market which, on the basis of the assembly of the various elements that constitute them and the type of connection to the load-bearing structure of the building, can be classified into:
• mullion and transom facade,
• structural facade,
• facade with point fixing
• and prefabricated cell facade.
The curtain wall system is often used for the construction of large works and specialized buildings such as banks, insurance companies, hotels, etc.
But more and more often it is also used for "smaller works" such as the redevelopment of suburban villas, town houses, condominiums.
