Glass has always met fashion in clothes and accessories. The brief excursus, proposed by Professor Samuele Magri, selects some examples of this union through time, also showing some unusual episodes.
The topic, still poorly explored, bears witness to the versatility of glass, a material capable of effectively responding to the needs of sectors that are anything but adjacent.
Samuele Magri was born in Florence. He graduated in Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the University of Pisa, where he also specialized in History of Fashion. After various experiences gained at museums and foundations, he now teaches History of Art and History of Fashion for various institutions.
