Green and eco-sustainability, human centric, smart and servitorisation are some of the trends driving the current glass sector and which will enliven the upcoming edition of the fair VITRUM.
To get a taste of the technological solutions that will be exhibited at the fair, it is possible to follow the speeches of some of the protagonists of VITRUM 2023.
The hot topics of the next edition, starting on 5 September at Fiera Milano Rho, will be:
- GREEN AND ECO-SUSTAINABILITY. Two extremely popular terms that describe technologies that are compatible with the eco-sustainable transition, as they are capable of generating more eco-compatible glass manufacturing processes or glass products.
- HUMAN CENTRIC. From an Industry 5.0 perspective, it concerns the development of products and processes that focus on the safety and livability of the work environment, making it concretely "on a human scale".
- SMART. Brief excursus on the technologies capable of generating more “intelligent” glass manufacturing processes or glass products. From the Internet of Things to artificial intelligence, passing through the various solutions that make it possible to optimize processes, satisfying customer requests.
- SERVITATION. In line with the principles of process optimization and solution customization, it is strategic to explore the transition from ownership economy to usership economy, from hardware suppliers to suppliers of skills and solutions.
