On the occasion of the first edition of the Vision Milan Glass Week the Foundation of the Order of Architects of Milan promotes two new ones free itineraries on the "Milan of glass".
The appointment is for Tuesday 5 and Friday 8 October, from 15.00 to 18.00: accompanied by Maria Vittoria Capitanucci - historian and architectural critic, we will visit some buildings that in modern and contemporary Milan express a refined use of glass, enhancing its technical, aesthetic, compositional and environmental potential.
On the first day we will go to the rediscovery of the symbolic architectures of the new Milan, from Unicredit Tower in Piazza Gae Aulenti at three Allianz towers, Generali e PWC to CityLife; the second day begins with a visit to the iconic glass buildings built in the second half of the twentieth century in the Centro Direzionale district of Milan - Pirelli skyscraper, Galbani Palace, Galfa Tower - and then continue with the most recent offices Saurberuch + Hutton e MAC9 Zurich Insurance in the Maciachini area. The buildings will be visited from the outside, and in the external common areas, where present.
