Considering that the fashion industry is among the most polluting in the world, it is more than necessary to renew companies in this sector towards more virtuous and environmentally friendly practices.
The market presents various valid alternatives to animal skin, often so similar that you cannot notice the difference even to the touch. Among these we can, for example, mention fabrics made from waste materials such as recycled glass and fishing nets.
Miomojo has created the new collection with these sustainable materials: glass waste and apple peels from Trentino.
Among other things, the environmental impact of the production of these lines compared to a production of animal skin bags is very interesting: there was a significant reduction in water consumption ranging from 70 to 90% and also a reduction in production C02.
Miomojo, in addition to the example of adopting a vegan and sustainable philosophy, this company is also a virtuous business model that returns part of its profits to ecosystems, donating 10% of its net profit to international associations for the defense and protection of animals in distress.
