The company was founded in 1994, when Talamoni Tomasino acquired a family company dedicated to the production of tungsten carbide wheels for hollow glass engraving, supplying glass industries such as Bormioli Luigi, Bormioli Rocco and other excellence in the production of glasses for many years. and glasses for the household sector.
Having in the meantime developed a line of wheels, heads and complete modules for the automatic cutting tables of flat glass, in 1997 for the first time participates in the international fair Vitrum offering their products to the market.
Over the years from a sole proprietorship the company became a partnership, and from 2019 it became TALAMONI S.r.l., over time the company develops collaborations and commercial relationships with leading companies in the production of cutting tables and with the major Italian and international retailers.
For 27 years the owner, his family and together with the staff have continued to produce hard metal wheels and discs to meet the needs of ever faster and more precise cuts, with increasingly stringent machining tolerances for cutting tables that continue to innovate. to meet the needs of the market.
Talamoni wheels are inserted in cutting heads produced in different models and compatible with the various brands of cutting tables on the market such as Bavelloni, Bottero, Bystronic Euromec Lisec, Hegla, Intermac, Macotec, Turomas and CSM….
Monolithic glass, laminated, stratified, coated glass…. For each type of glass to be processed, our company offers the suitable product for cutting and subsequent processing.
To complete the offer Talamoni develops three different types of oils for glass cutting. Correct lubrication of the wheel and the right product for the glass to be cut are the essential combination for quality results.
Our productions for the processing of hollow and flat glass are divided into:
- Tungsten carbide wheels of different diameters and thicknesses ground and sharpened from 90 ° to 165 ° to be used according to the glass to be processed and the cutting table;
- Metal cutting heads such as CP, CSH, B50… produced with numerical control machines to offer precise interchangeable tools that can be quickly replaced, perfectly compatible with the different models of cutting tables. The ease of inserting the wheel and its axis is guaranteed by optimizing tool change times.
- Cutting wheels inserted in colored plastic clips. Each color identifies the cutting angle ranging from 110 ° to 165 °. The CSM and C models are clips with a 6 mm or 5,6 mm diameter wheel depending on the cutting table and intended for straight cutting, laminated and stratified glass.
The CS and CSDA models are clips with a 5 mm diameter wheel for straight and shaped monolithic glass cutting, and for laminated and stratified glass.
In the technical department we develop, on request, cutting solutions for prototype machines and / or special processing needs.
