STRATO® RIGIDO is a structural insert that guarantees one of the highest levels of protection against strong impacts. Even if the glass component breaks, the structure is not weakened, on the contrary, the stability and safety of the product are preserved.
STRATO® RIGIDO must be laminated between two films of STRATO® EVA, so that the mechanical, adhesive and optical properties deriving from a high quality structural product can be obtained.
The great mechanical properties of STRATO® EVA, combined with the rigidity of STRATO® RIGIDO, allow any thickness of glass to be stratified, guaranteeing the same structural load at any time and over time.
STRATO® RIGID and applications with open edges
STRATO® RIGIDO is not a hygroscopic material and therefore does not fear humidity. Furthermore, the EVA film is not sensitive to humidity, water, temperature fluctuations: for this reason the STRATO® product range is compatible with both indoor and outdoor applications, without the risk of delamination.
Transparency and satin effect
When transparency is a must we recommend laminating STRATO® RIGIDO with STRATO® CLEAR, known as the non-plus-ultra of EVA films for the architectural glass market. It provides a completely natural, transparent and neutral-looking glass thanks to its high degree of transparency and UV protection.
And if privacy is the watchword, STRATO® RIGIDO can be combined with the STRATO® FROST range, characterized by three different finishes (STRATO® LEGGERO, STRATO® SATINATO and STRATO® LATTE).
This category allows you to obtain different levels of opacity and transparencies (from 2% up to 65% of light transmission) based on the selected finish. STRATO® FROST also performs a double action, capturing and diffusing light homogeneously and without reflections.
STRATO® COLOR and STRATO® RIGIDO: a combination of patterns.
STRATO® RIGIDO can also be assembled with STRATO® COLOR, creating the right balance between colors and safety.
The STRATO® COLOR collection offers full and transparent colors, allowing the customization of structural surfaces with modern and cutting-edge shades. It is also possible to create multiple combinations, for example by assembling STRATO® COLOUR, STRATO® RIGIDO and STRATO® FROST in a single laminated glass, mixing color with a satin effect.
