Rediscover the value of dexterity and sustainable creativity, giving new life to glass.
This is the goal of the free course ofArt Glass making, promoted by ITER and the City of Turin, in collaboration with the Al Cicapui association, at the REMIDA creative reuse centre (via Modena 35, Turin).
The workshop is structured in five afternoon meetings on Wednesdays 2 and 9 April, and 7, 14 and 21 May, from 17.30:19.30 pm to 16:12 pm, and is aimed at people over the age of XNUMX, for a maximum of XNUMX participants.
Through a collective and creative approach, the students will learn to transform fragments of recycled glass and wood into unique objects, giving shape to a small lamp Table. The materials come from waste from the processing of fine glass and will be cut and assembled by each participant. The compositions will then be subjected to glass fusion.
For the younger ones, the course includes the creation of refined design objects in micromosaic, using different colored glass boxes.
The initiative is entirely free and represents an unmissable opportunity to experience glass art as a form of expression, environmental education and sharing.
An educational, artistic and sustainable experience that will unite different generations thanks to the age-old charm of glass.
