OCMI-OTG introduces the new production line for borosilicate glass tubular vials composed by the index rotation forming machine FLA18 and the after-forming line LF518.
Machine has been developed to reach a max. output of 18 pcs/min. with 55R vials with the possibility to process glass tube diameters from 10mm to 30mm.
Turret rotation is driven by torque-motor that is supplied together with water chiller for its cooling.
The forming operations are performed through three dedicated servo-controlled stations.
The operator can adjust the parameters related with tools starting/ending position and their acceleration from machine control panel.
After mouth forming operation, main dimensions can be controlled by inspection system OPTIVIAL, whose camera can take up to 15 pictures of the same rotating vial.
Lower chucks are equipped with blowers enabled by solenoid valves, aimed to remove smokes from inner side of vials in order to keep alkalinity into limits fixed by ISO standards.
FLA18 machine is also suitable to be connected with the automatic loader supplied by OCMI, now available in the new version picking the single tube from the packed bundle.
The new after-forming line LF518 can be equipped with electro-mechanical control stations for total height and inner mouth diameter of the vial.
Servo-motors are also driving the main mechanisms for vial manipulation on the after-forming line.
The new version of vial annealing lehr is fed by feeding manipulator with six mechanical grippers, whose adjustable jaws allow to process vials with minimum total height of 6mm.
The Automatic Packing machine PM-V can replace the traditional manual packing operation to solve the problem of friction between vials and, consequently, minimize the risk of cosmetic defects. The picking operation is made by vacuum cups directly from packing machine racks.
Software of automatic packing machine PM-A allows to save box filling recipes.
Job change is very easy for the operator thanks to the supply of a set of dedicated parts.
