Neptun – New communication campaign at the end of an exceptional year.
2022 has been an exceptional year full of contradictions.
In terms of sales, Neptun has not only followed the positive trend of the world market but has surpassed all positive forecasts. We measure the result of this special year not only in terms of turnover but in the growth of the international sales network, as a result of collaborators who have contacted us showing a strong interest in Neptun products.
An exceptional year in terms of sales unfortunately corresponds to a production slowdown due to the notorious supply difficulties of electronics and components. Also in this case we have tried and alternative solutions have been presented which we are pursuing to create the least possible inconvenience to those who have trusted us.
Furthermore, this year we have renewed our communication by placing the concept of sustainability at the centre.
Sustainability is….
The study of the new campaign launched in October began about a year ago.
It is incredible how since February '22 this issue, sometimes murky, has become concrete and pressing for the life of people and businesses.
The war conflict with the reduction of available resources, wheat, gas, oil, the severe drought that hit Europe and now the hydrogeological disasters, not to mention the increasingly present generic pollution.
No one could have predicted that in 2022 we would face such a strong inflationary crisis combined with a shortage of supplies.
Neptun, recently arrived in the panorama of machine manufacturers, has decided to make diversification and the search for innovative solutions a distinctive trait.
Our R&D has always tried to combine productivity with comfort of use and production cost, production cost which indirectly includes saving energy and other resources such as water and consumables.
From this reflection we have decided to express this tension towards optimizing resources with a new campaign, which then means making production more sustainable.
We have therefore chosen a concept related to natural and primordial elements, associating them with our production lines. The land for ROCK straight-line edgers, robust basic product, reliable over time,
Focus for vertical NCs are fast, accurate, turn on and off when needed-
Water is a natural element for our washing machines and finally the air is represented by our anthropomorphic automation, which precisely moves the glass plates in space without friction.
What about the Neptun organization?
It represents the FIFTH ELEMENT, which in ancient Greek mythology is the incorruptible essence from which the celestial bodies, sky, stars and planets were born. It represents the evolution and fusion of the 4 natural elements, precisely earth, water, fire and air from which everything is then created.
The Fifth element is the creator and what blends together the other 4 natural elements, and so we see ourselves for our products and our technology as the quintessence for glass processing.
These are ambitious claims, perhaps exaggerated for the size of our organization, but in reality they underline the continuous effort to innovate for the benefit of our customers. It is a fact that in ten years with enormous financial efforts we have created dozens of innovative products, patented solutions and ingenious and useful working systems.
Going down to a more concrete level, many of our technical solutions have always been based on environmental sustainability, i.e. avoiding waste of energy and water, improving the quality of work, without however losing sight of productivity.
In the field of energy reduction we have made
1) Automatic management of the washing tank heating cycle, tanks insulated to avoid dispersions and suitably sized to facilitate maintaining the water temperature within pre-set parameters to avoid consumption peaks
2) the patented Ecosave system makes it possible to optimize the air flows of the blowers, concentrating them only on the plate surface inside the washing machine, without unnecessary dispersions and continuous use of the fan, which is by far the most energy-intensive element of the washing machine
3) the automatic timed shutdown of all lavatory functions in the absence of glass is a further support for energy saving.
To limit water consumption in washing machines and vertical NCs we have developed
4) The A-qual water quality control system ensures the automatic replacement of the necessary amount of clean water, to maintain the predetermined quality, drastically reducing water consumption.
5) The Night-care function allows the timed automatic emptying and rinsing of the tanks, avoiding waste of water.
6) The vertical NC software controls the solenoid valves which open the water jet only when the tool is functioning, drastically reducing its consumption.
Environmental well-being is also important, therefore in noise reduction
7) In addition to the strong benefit of energy saving, the partialization or total blocking of the air flows through the Ecosave automatic system decreases the noise level by several decibels without switching off the fan itself, creating a more comfortable environment for the operator
8) Rock grinders, thanks to the extensive use of cast iron and intelligent casing, are among the quietest on the market. Grinding 20 mm thick glass with removal up to 2,5 mm does not rise above 72 Decibels.
Finally, we have paid attention to the reduction of maintenance and waste of consumables, making diagnostics on our machines very simple and creating certified assistance centers around the world. Neptun has technicians with various levels of expertise and in Germany, Poland, Portugal, Spain, France, Holland, North Africa, South Africa, USA, Japan, Thailand and Australia.
At Neptun we have always believed that technology and electronics can help operators simplify their work, increase productivity and above all support them in machine maintenance. For this reason, all Neptun machines equipped with PLC now have scheduled maintenance, an error log and recording and the possibility of downloading the machine's working modes by identifying its production batches.
Very useful is the diagnostics of more complex machines such as vertical NCs, which clearly and simply indicate all the possible defects of solenoid valve banks, drivers and motors.
The DCS system on vertical drills and AWA on straight-line grinders optimize the way the tool works according to its characteristics, improving its performance and extending its life as much as possible.
Quickservice implemented through the 'SEVIO Router' remote control module with dedicated IP for maximum corporate security, is now mounted on all our machines equipped with PLCs and allows us to support the customer remotely.
