The carbide wheel, a seemingly simple product, is still the most widely used tool for cutting glass today. With increasingly advanced and precise machines offering speed and perfect cutting solutions, Talamoni cutting heads adapt to the new performance demands of cutting table manufacturers.
In Talamoni Extensive testing has been done to optimize the sharpening finish and ensure perfect cuts. The different roughnesses of the cutting surface were developed to offer the user the best tool for achieving the desired result.: a clean and neat cut.
We have invested in research for the choice of suitable mixtures to ensure a long life of the wheel to avoid frequent tool changes, which represents a problem in glassworks in terms of time, without increasing the costs of our products.
At Vitrum 2025 Talamoni will present:
- wheel holder, produced internally by the company, are very simple to use and above all compliant with the pilar posts of the cutting benches: the "new" wheel holder CP and B50 They are the latest creations from Talamoni which make it easier to change the wheel and can be easily placed on the cutting table.
- An new finishing of the cutting wheels developed and tested with important clients in the Italian and foreign glass industry. DSG finish optimizes the cutting of laminated, laminated and coated glass, ensuring precise cutting and easy opening of the glass sheets. This new finish of wheels is now available across our entire product range.
- Talamoni glass cutters have been updated. The glass cutter head material has been improved, optimizing the sliding of the cutting wheel. The new models will be presented at the fair. VB CUT e OSCUT with the plastic handle, the SICUT model with the metal handle suitable for cutting glass from 1 to 10 mm and the SICUT GP dedicated to cutting glass with a thickness of 12-19 mm. All glass cutter models are produced with the wheel Diamond in different finishes depending on the intended use of the tool.
