Through the years, CUGHER GLASS S.r.l. has concentrated its business on the development of automated and technical machines for screen printing on flat glass.
Screen printing is a printing process that uses a screen printing frame as a matrix. The transfer of the image on the glass occurs through the passage of the ink through the frame, following a pressure obtained from the sliding movement of a bar along the frame.
Screen printing is much more versatile than traditional printing techniques since different types of ink can be used on different varieties of materials, furthermore the printing can be repeated in a cyclic way allowing to reach a high production speed. For these reasons, screen printing is used in many different industries.

The digital printing technique has recently joined the screen printing. The digital process consists of processing the image by a computer and then printing it directly onto the surface of the products.
Specifically, this new technology allows to:
- Reproduce each graphic project in real time
- Customize the image from one print to another
- Print any color, with an infinite range of color results and special effects
To combine the consolidated screen printing technology with the digital one, in March 2020 CUGHER GLASS S.r.l. finalized the partnership with Tecglass with the aim of offering customers the possibility of having a single partner for the construction of industrial plants: from the simplest to the most complex and sophisticated.
