Helix System is a DIAMUT patent. It is the result of a collaboration with Intermac to develop a revolutionary drilling system not present on the market today, which is able to drill holes with integrated upper and lower countersink on glass sheets up to 19mm thick, using a single tool on CNC machines. .
Helix overcomes the limits of traditional drilling systems. In fact, today's technology forces operators to use two tools and has some limitations; in fact, it does not integrate the countersinking of the lower part and requires the use of different core bits for holes of different diameters.
Helix is an innovative tool managed by dedicated software. In fact, thanks to the synergy with Intermac and the development of specific software, the descent of the tool is no longer vertical but takes place helicoidally; the entry takes place through the rounded part of the tool and instead of being drilled, the glass is ground to create the hole.
