2019 represents a very important milestone for Deltamax Automation, not only because it marks the entry into the fourth decade of work in the automation and artificial vision sector, but also for the adoption of a new development philosophy in the name of "Green economy".
The latest addition to Deltamax Automazione, the OPT system that will be presented at the fair Vitrum from Milan, in fact, represents the essence of the theories related to energy saving in the production process: identifying structural defects at the beginning of the glass transformation cycle makes it possible to achieve a very ambitious goal, that is to increase productivity and quality at the same time.
The main innovation of the solution patented by Deltamax Automazione consists in the possibility of detecting structural defects (bubbles and inclusions) on slabs taken directly from the warehouse, therefore with the surface presence of residues of various kinds (lucite, dirt, etc.). This innovation therefore makes it possible to avoid installing a washing machine with important savings in terms of economics and space, elements that are increasingly important in defining the layout of modern glassworks. Installed between the conveyor of the loader and the cutting table, OPT acquires images of the plates in transit, whether they are of monolithic or laminated glass, creating a map of the defects detected, which is sent to the cutting table management software.
